Dishwasher Repair in the Quad Cities

Reliable repairs for your dishwasher. Say goodbye to handwashing dishes. Serving Davenport, Bettendorf, Moline, Rock Island, East Moline and everywhere within 50 miles.

Dishwasher Repair in the Quad Cities

Dishwashers fail quietly — dishes come out gritty, a puddle appears under the toe kick, the cycle never finishes. Because a dishwasher sits against your cabinets and flooring, a slow leak does far more damage than the repair would have cost. We pull, diagnose and reinstall dishwashers of every major brand without tearing up your kitchen.

What this repair includes

  • Drain pump, wash pump and impeller replacement
  • Water inlet valve and float switch service
  • Door gasket, sump seal and latch repair
  • Spray arm and filter housing cleaning

We work on all major residential brands, including Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, GE, Maytag, KitchenAid, Frigidaire, Amana, Kenmore, Bosch and more. Have the model number handy when you call — it is the fastest way for us to confirm we can bring the right part on the first trip.

Sound familiar?

These are the failures we see most often on this appliance — and what is usually behind them.

Standing water in the bottom

A clogged filter or drain hose, a failed drain pump, or a check valve stuck open. Quick to diagnose, quick to fix.

Dishes come out dirty or gritty

Blocked spray arms, a worn wash pump impeller, or a heating element that never reaches temperature.

Leaking onto the floor

A hardened door gasket, a cracked sump seal or an over-sudsing detergent problem. We find it before it reaches the subfloor.

Will not start or fill

Door latch switch, water inlet valve or float switch. Often a ten-dollar part behind a dead machine.

Not drying dishes

A failed heating element or vent door actuator — common on machines that otherwise wash fine.

Loud grinding while running

Something hard made it past the filter into the pump. We remove it before it destroys the impeller.

Dishwasher Repair — questions we get a lot

There is water standing in the bottom of my dishwasher. Is that normal?

A small amount of water in the sump is normal and keeps the seals from drying out. Several inches of standing water after a completed cycle is not — that is a drain problem, and it is one of the fastest repairs we do.

Will you have to damage my cabinets to pull the dishwasher out?

No. Dishwashers are designed to slide out from under the counter once the mounting brackets and water line are released. We protect your flooring and put everything back the way we found it.

My dishwasher leaves a white film on everything. Can you fix that?

Usually that is hard water plus a heating element that is not reaching temperature, not a broken machine. We test the element and tell you which of the two it is before you spend money on parts.

Call and talk to a technician, not a call center. Same-day service in most cases across the Quad Cities.

Greg was recommended to me and they said if Greg can’t fix it you’ll probably have to buy new. He was prompt, honest about what was wrong, and completely professional. In my 57 years he is the most honest and personable repair man I have ever met.
