Short answer
Often, yes — particularly if you call in the morning and you are within about fifteen miles of Rock Island. We do not promise it universally, because a small shop that promises same-day everywhere is a shop that is about to break that promise.
Where same-day is routine
Rock Island, Moline, East Moline, Silvis, Milan, Davenport and Bettendorf sit on our daily route. We are usually already in the area, so fitting you in is a scheduling question rather than a special trip.
Coal Valley, Carbon Cliff, Hampton, Andalusia, Riverdale, Panorama Park, Blue Grass and Buffalo are close enough to behave much the same way.
Where it is scheduled instead
Out toward Galesburg, Kewanee, Sterling, Maquoketa or West Liberty we run in batched trips. You are waiting for the next run in that direction rather than for an opening in a queue, and there is still no travel surcharge for the distance.
The one thing that always jumps the line
A refrigerator that has stopped cooling. Tell us that is what it is and we will do everything we can to reach you the same day regardless of where you are, because the alternative is you losing a freezer full of food while you wait.
